WHY A CUSTOM SKI BIKE?

The process we follow here at BuildASkiBike.com is as follows:

1) We first select a frame; this is the basis for all of the other parts that are selected for the bike. All of the frames are made from quality carbon fiber, aluminum, or steel depending on the frame choice. Each has its benefits, for example carbon fiber is very light but a little more expensive, while aluminum is not quite as light but a little more affordable. We have a frame set up for everyone.

2) Next a fork is selected, we select a fork color that matches the theme and wheel size of the frame. All of our forks are ordered specifically to work with the ski bike setup and are designed to make your ride as comfortable as possible.

3) Components are selected based on the desired look of the bike. A color scheme that matches the frame and the fork is decided upon to give the finished ski bike a cool look while providing versatility and stability while cruising the slopes. Components that are selected consist of a headset, handlebar stem, spacers, grips, seat, seat post, seat post clamp, ski attachment, and skis.

4) Once all of the components are chosen the build process begins, it takes about a day to fully assemble a bike and ensure its construction is to the standards of BuildASkiBike.com.

If you purchase a custom ski bike and have it shipped to your residence or business, then there will be some minor assembly that is required. The reason for the assembly is so we can fit the custom ski bike with all of its components in the shipping box. Instructions will be included with your shipment and you can also watch the video below for a detailed process for assembly.
